The incumbent will be required to provide the first line of service to callers and walk-in visitors.
Major Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- Manages the Company’s lobby area, maintaining a neat and orderly appearance in the reception area
- Greets, directs and announces visitors
- Answers all incoming calls: screening, directing, taking messages and supplying information
- Makes outgoing calls as requested
- Sorts and distributes all incoming mail
- Logs all outgoing cheque payments and ensures that they are signed for upon collection
- Handles occasional special projects
- Performs basic clerical tasks as may be required from time to time
- Performs other duties that may be required to enhance the operations of the Company.
Knowledge & Experience:
- A minimum of five (5) CXC passes, including Mathematics and English
- A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a similar role
- Experience working with on a switchboard would be an asset
