The incumbent will be required to provide the first line of service to callers and walk-in visitors.

Major Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
  • Manages the Company’s lobby area, maintaining a neat and orderly appearance in the reception area
  • Greets, directs and announces visitors
  • Answers all incoming calls: screening, directing, taking messages and supplying information
  • Makes outgoing calls as requested
  • Sorts and distributes all incoming mail
  • Logs all outgoing cheque payments and ensures that they are signed for upon collection
  • Handles occasional special projects
  • Performs basic clerical tasks as may be required from time to time
  • Performs other duties that may be required to enhance the operations of the Company.
Knowledge & Experience:
  • A minimum of five (5) CXC passes, including Mathematics and English
  • A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a similar role
  • Experience working with on a switchboard would be an asset

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Pleasant disposition with good customer service orientation and a general willingness to assist staff and members of the public
  • Ability to establish and maintain respectful relationships at all levels
  • Dependable and a good team player
