Business Development Manager

Business Development

The incumbent will be responsible for actively seeking, analyzing and assessing the viability of and successfully integrating new business initiatives into the organization while working closely with the Divisions to execute projects related to the overall growth and development of the Company.

Some Main Responsibilities include:
  • Assist in exploring and actively pursuing strategic business organic and inorganic growth opportunities for the Company including product innovations.
  • Work closely with the Managing Director to determine appropriate marketing strategies for Company initiatives and ensure the development and successful roll out of marketing materials/executions
  • Assist in identifying portfolio gaps and developing and implementing a Business Development Plan to close those gaps that is in line with Company strategic goals and objectives
  • Assist in evaluating business ideas by conducting research and providing financial and management information analyses, reports and recommendations
  • Lead the Product Innovation Team
  • Assist in ensuring successful integration of all new strategic business initiatives into the operations
  • Conduct regular competitor analysis and gather relevant competitor and market intelligence
  • Assist with the preparation and presentation of proposals to key stakeholders as required
  • Establish and maintain strong professional relationships with key decision-makers and prospective customers and suppliers
  • Perform other duties that may be required to enhance the operations of the Company
Knowledge, Experience and Requirement:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or related field.
  • Master’s Degree would be an asset
  • A minimum of five (5) years similar experience with at least two (2) years at a managerial level Or relevant combination of training and experience
