Bryden pi Ltd, one of the leading channel-focused distributors of Consumer, Health and Personal Care products in Trinidad and Tobago is seeking the ideal candidate to join our unique family in the position of DIVISION MANAGER – PHARMACEUTICAL DIVISION. The incumbent is expected to aggressively promote and manage the Company’s Pharmaceutical Division in order to ensure continuous growth of market share and maximize profit contribution to the Company.

Some Major Responsibilities & Accountabilities include:

  1. Develop and implement strategic sales & marketing plans, budgets and forecasts to achieve corporate and supplier objectives for products and services.

  2. Manage the growth and development of the Division 

  3. Monitor and control Division’s expenses ensuring optimum use of resources ensuring optimal use of resources that also generates optimum profitability for the Division and in turn the Company

  4. Ensure the effective management of stock so as to avoid stock-outs and over-stocked situations

  5. Continually evaluate the Division’s portfolio, seek out and capitalize on new business opportunities and cull unprofitable lines or brands

  6. Maintain  control of the Division’s Accounts Receivable 

  7. Continually develop and maintain close contact with key customers to obtain  feedback on their requirements

  8. Regularly maintain close contact with Principals to foster stronger ties and ensure long-term relationships

  9. Oversee Sales Managers, Sales Supervisors and their team, Brand Managers, Medical Representatives, Pharmacist and team and Administrative Assistant.

  10. Challenge and motivate staff to consistently achieve extraordinary results

 Knowledge & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing or related field. 

  • Proficient in MS Office applications.

  • At least ten (10) years’ experience in a Sales / Marketing environment, with at least five (5) being at a senior management level

  • Or relevant combination of training & experience will also be considered. Experience in this industry would be considered an asset.
